The Board of Mercyhurst requested MMA conduct a Threat, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (TRVA) be conducted for the University. Senior leadership was determining whether the campus police should be armed. In conducting their analysis they requested a robust threat analysis be conducted to examine the threats and hazards facing the campus. MMA conducted a threat analysis through research and interviews with senior leadership, staff, and community stakeholders. A risk matrix was developed prioritizing risks, and set of recommendations was provided to the Board discussing risks, response capability gaps and potential mitigation actions that could be implemented.

McManis & Monsalve Associates was retained by the Associate Vice Chancellor of Facilities and Campus Services, University of Massachusetts Amherst, to perform a Threat Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (TRVA) utilizing an organizational diagnostic approach. The assessment reviewed the organization’s facilities and campus services. This included examining facilities planning, physical plant, campus planning and transportation services. The threat assessment examined the current risks facing the organization based on their current operational structure. The assessment examined risks involving consolidation of services, customer satisfaction, cost savings, and succession planning. The assessment supported leadership in addressing risk posed by challenge of funding constraints, personnel changes, and trends in facilities management.
